The Business Accelerator Program’s, BAP, purpose is to allow focus on one region, in one industry during a limited amount of time. This enables a strategic work for the industry and its trade opportunities between the U.S. and Sweden.

In 2006-2007 the first Business Accelerator Program was carried out in South Sweden and resulted in new contacts, exchanges and success for the participants. An example of this is the successful collaboration between the City of Växjö and Savannah, GA as well as the establishment of Swedish companies in the area of Michigan, among others the Swedish Biogas International AB.

The Swedish-American Entrepreneurial Days have become an important trade and networking event, providing an effective platform for commerce and exchange between the U.S. and Sweden.
